Very nice collab!

The mixing and EQ, plus effects are literally flawless. Im very impressed. The compression/limiter effects are done extremely well. Seriously, thumbs up.

Very nice song, you have my praise.

I appreciate a review as well if you have the time

Nice dude

Nice use of effects man. Adds a nice sound to the mix, and its a good sequence.

The kick drum is very well EQ'ed man, very well done. I usually bitch about mixing and EQ on reviews, but this is very well done IMO.

I recommend a very hard master limiter on the mix though, IMO it will bring out a lot of the drumtrack and have a nice relationship to the synths.

The synth that comes in about half way is well EQ'ed BUT it is FAR too loud. Jack it down a decent ammount.

Etox responds:

thx for the advic and yes it is too loud, i just fixed that the other day, sounds much better now but i havnt tried the master limiter although i will sometime soon.

Interesting Instrumentation

I dont think Ive personally heard a harp type sound in techno and i cant decide if it fits or not.

Its a very happy song. Well, simply put and to keep me from sound like Im nagging, its written pretty well and the progressions fit well.

Sounds like something from a games Shop or somethin haha.

Anyway, now for the mixing/EQ.

This is VERY, VERY muddy. You need far more highs and mids in this mix. The high-end of bass frequencies are a-plenty, and thats not good. Very

Pretty decent otherwise, its interesting. Not typical techno, but Im rating a song based on the song, not the genre its placed.

I appreciate a review as well if you have the time man

Cuzone responds:

Both the highs and lows are perfect. The problem is in the EQ of the bass itself, not the mixing of the whole song.

Lol interesting intro dude

Intro is nice lol, creative. When the song begins to break down a bit, its pretty neat. the sequence is pretty hot, for sure. Im impressed with that bassline.

There needs to be way more highs on the kick drum, and the some of the synths are muddy (too much bass, clashes with the kicks).

To be honest this isnt typical trance. Its very progressive for sure, and the effects that you use are pretty neat. But JUST when a sequence is built up, you create a new one. Careful not to sound too progressive to the point where something potentially epic gets boring really quick.

The effects are really nice as I said, and the writing is nice. I suggest more attention on the mixing and on the progressivism. other than that, nice track.

I give it 8/10 5/5

I appreciate reviews if you can bro, thanks

DjSini responds:

tnx man
i appreciate your review :)

Hmmm

Has a lot of potential in that sequence for sure. Good luck on the final version.

The kick drum needs more highs in the mix, and turn up that pluck synth you have.

This song does not deserve a fucking 2. People only see the product uploaded and dont bother trying to help. Fuck the guy below me, thats such a fucking dickhead statement, everyONE and every SONG starts somewhere.

Definitely add a lead to the song, and I suggest turning the tempo up at least 10bpm.

Turn the snare and high hat up as well.

I suggest some sort of pad in the background, and add a part where the drums have variation and perhaps go much faster.

Just throwing out ideas here.

Id appreciate a review on something if you have the time bro. thanks

Pokemeon responds:

dude i appreciate the effort you took review my tune and ill be sure to do the same bud. Also ill definitely pay attention to your suggestions, but i didn't understand the part were you said the the drums need more highs? didn't you mean like a higher tempo?

Nice bassline for sure

This is a very nice sequence, and the piano is a nice effect.

Not an incredible fan of that one FLS pad you used (Nightmare is it called?). Not sure but, pretty decent overall. Nice subwoofer song.

The kick drum needs a little less bass to keep from meshing badly from the bassline, and more highs to stand out in the mix.

Overall, its decent, just needs way more variation. But good job man.

I appreciate it if you review a song of mine too bro.

majer responds:

as i noted this is not the final mix so you can expect to here more variations of this one soon thanks for the kind words and glad it was able to tickle your subs properly

the pads i used were actually a couple of hits one was toilings and the screams are called screamers

Well damn, nice beat dude

Pretty decent writing for sure. Very impressive when the beat finally drops. The EQ and mixing needs work. I recommend adding an 808 on your "reverbed" or "distorted" kick you got, would make it niceeee and deep and stand out really well. I think you should turn the stereo synth pads you have down, and make the sitar thing thats center channel be a little more stereo.

Overall very good writing man. I really like the drums, but yeah that 808 bit would be perfect.

I appreciate it if you can review a song of mine :)

Well done!

Nice and ambient indeed man. Very nice sequences and the instrumentation meshes perfectly. Very good job bro.

Mixing and EQ? The master needs more highs. Thats about it, man. Well done in this area too.

Nitrocore responds:

Thanks for the review, I appreciate it and thanks for listening :)

Nice :)

Pretty unique instrumentation. Ive heard piano in techno before but not usually for a main basic sequence. Its a pretty nice song.

The mixing and EQ...hmm, definitely need more highs on the kick to keep it present in the mix, and a little less bass. (im a massive fan of bass, but only when mixed right). The crashes are a tad too loud, and the snare is muffled - add some highs to them. :)

Just my 2 cents. Overall a really good techno song dude, keep up the good work. I do electronica as well, if you dont mind doing a review if you have time. :)

Nice!

Nice into man, I like it a lot.

The writing is pretty darn good dude I love the sequences.

Now for the mixing. I dont like your mixing on the synth at all. Its far too loud in comparison to the kick drums. Id suggest pumping the kick drum up a lot in volume (even when the drums pick up and it gets louder). The drums need more presence. The High Synth that comes in is too loud.

There is far too much going on in the center channel.

Im picky about mixing, just thought Id try to give you constructive criticism. Well written though man. Very nice.
